The Opportunity

Ampcontrol is seeking a hands-on HSEQ professional to join our Operations team. In this role, you'll gain broad exposure across Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) topics, providing leadership, direction, and expert support across our operational sites. You'll champion a strong safety culture and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset are highly valued in this role.

What You'll Do

As an integral part of our HSEQ team, you will:

  • Provide practical HSEQ guidance, coordination, and support across the business
  • Drive implementation and continuous improvement of our Integrated Management Systems
  • Lead HSEQ improvement projects and risk management activities on-site
  • Facilitate incident reporting, investigation (e.g., ICAM), and resolution
  • Monitor trends in HSEQ data and drive corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate safety, environment, and quality documentation and registers
  • Support QA/QC improvements and audit follow-ups
  • Coach teams on process improvements and system compliance
  • Conduct contractor and visitor inductions
  • Support ongoing compliance with key business certifications

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSEQ role within manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Cert IV WHS (or equivalent qualification in Health & Safety)
  • In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Return to Work Coordination and incident investigation experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (desirable)
  • Passion for safety, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Ability to travel occasionally within Australia
  • High integrity and commitment to confidentiality
