Overview

We are partnering with a leading organisation in the transport sector to recruit a Senior Finance Manager who will report directly to the GM and CEO. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing financial strategy, reporting, and systems to ensure strong financial health and sustainable growth.

The Senior Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency, managing profitability and liquidity, and providing strategic insights to support executive decision-making. This role also leads the finance team, oversees ERP systems, and acts as a trusted business partner across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead all aspects of finance, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and compliance.
  • Oversee the general ledger, trial balance, sub-ledgers, and ensure integrity of financial records.
  • Partner with the leadership team to provide commercial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Implement and optimise ERP systems and financial reporting platforms to streamline operations.
  • Drive financial strategy and planning, including long-term business and capital planning.
  • Manage audits, internal controls, risk management, and statutory compliance.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and improvement
Qualifications
  • Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA/CFA/CMA) with 5+ years' experience in senior finance roles.
  • Strong commercial and operational acumen, ideally with experience in the transport, logistics, or industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in ERP implementation and finance system optimisation.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing finance teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executives and operational leaders.
