proUrban is a specialist town planning consultancy that provides advisory, planning and management services to property developers and landowners.

proUrban's planning team work on a broad range of major residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed-use projects across metropolitan Melbourne. Most of our projects relate to significant and complex development proposals and planning applications. We are also regularly involved in projects of state significance and major precinct-based projects for market-leading clients.

Our services on these projects include:

1. Working with our clients to understand their objectives and tailoring solutions to enable the achievement of agreed outcomes.
2. Securing planning permits: application strategy, preparation and management.
3. Development site identification: inputs to feasibility studies, and pre-purchase planning due diligence.
4. Facilitating planning scheme amendments: developing strategic justification, document preparation, stakeholder engagement, and process management.
5. Consultation, negotiation, and engagement with local communities and other stakeholders.
6. 'Front-end' project management services during the first half of the project life cycle, from project inception to the commencement of construction.

What are we looking for?

proUrban is seeking a Planning Consultant and/or Senior Consultant with approximately 3-8 years' experience in urban planning, including experience in Victoria, from either the private or public sector, with a university degree in urban planning or a related discipline.

The successful candidate will work independently and collaboratively with our directors and team to manage large-scale, complex development projects across various sectors.
