About the company

Novotel Wollongong Northbeach is a prestigious and luxurious hotel renowned for its exceptional service and exquisite event spaces. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wedding Coordinator to join our team and contribute to the success of our wedding events.

About the role

As a Wedding Coordinator at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach, you will be responsible for orchestrating seamless and memorable weddings for our clients. Ensuring the smooth and efficient sales process through to confirmed bookings, you will strive to achieve hotel sales targets. You will work closely with couples, vendors, and internal teams to ensure every detail is meticulously planned and executed. This role requires a passion for creating magical moments, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. This is a Tuesday to Saturday role with some weekends off during off-peak season.

What you'll bring
  • Previous Wedding Coordinator experience.
  • Experience in handling a high volume of enquiries with superb accuracy e.g. phone sales, inquiry handling, turn-around response and follow-through.
  • Drive up-selling opportunity and convert enquiries and site inspections into confirmed bookings.
  • Be thoroughly conversant with all packages, pricing and promotional offers.
  • Attendance at wedding expos throughout the year to maximise sales and brand awareness.
  • Delivery of our internal wedding expo to increase bookings.
  • Be a master in all aspects of Wedding Coordination to sustain a high level of service standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to identify trends in the market and apply this knowledge to maximise revenue.
Skills & experience
  • OPERA Cloud & Delphi experience highly regarded, but not essential
  • Knowledge of PMS systems and Microsoft suite of products
  • Knowledge of current wedding trends and industry best practices
  • Proven experience in wedding or event coordination
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
