Inspire Energy is a purpose-driven solar company focused on delivering large-scale solar installations that reduce environmental impact and empower communities.

As we grow, we're seeking a proactive and strategic Operations Manager to join our leadership team. This person will play a key role in driving business growth, leading project execution, and overseeing all aspects of operations from stock control and logistics to team performance and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Operations & Strategy
    • Oversee daily operations across the business to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement operational processes that support scalability
    • Collaborate with directors to develop and execute business growth strategies
    • Develop operational KPIs and reporting systems to monitor performance and progress
  2. Project Management
    • Lead and manage end-to-end delivery of large-scale solar projects
    • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget
    • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout project lifecycles
    • Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and installation teams
    • Manage and support a cross-functional team, fostering a high-performance culture
    • Recruit, train, and develop team members to ensure alignment with company values and goals
    • Conduct performance reviews and implement ongoing training initiatives
  3. Stock Control & Logistics
    • Oversee procurement, inventory management, and stock control systems
    • Forecast material requirements and ensure timely delivery of equipment to project sites
    • Coordinate warehousing, logistics, and transportation to support seamless operations
  4. Compliance & Safety
    • Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and internal policies
    • Monitor WHS practices across all sites and manage incident reporting and response
    • Maintain documentation and certifications for audits and inspections
Skills & Qualifications
  • Proven experience in an Operations or Project Management role (preferably in solar or construction) and government tenders
  • Strong leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional planning, time management, and organisational skills
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and logistics systems
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to align operations with growth targets
  • Proficient with project management tools, reporting dashboards, and CRM systems (Simpro experience preferred)

Understanding of solar installation processes, electrical compliance, and renewable energy markets is a bonus. Please provide a cover letter and resume.
