About Country Club :

Country Club Tasmania is located in a parkland setting and remains Launceston's premier choice for holiday accommodation, dining, and entertainment. With 5 restaurants, 4 bars, 88 hotel rooms, 16 suites, 74 villa units, conference and banquet facilities, casino gaming operations, and sporting and recreational facilities, plus the upcoming launch of The Range, a new golfing entertainment precinct, this position offers a dynamic and engaging environment.

What you can expect in a day in this role :

At Country Club Tasmania, we aim to create exceptional experiences for our guests, whether it's Christmas Day lunch, an intimate corporate brunch, or a large-scale concert. Working with the Conference and Events team, you'll be part of a professional and experienced group dedicated to ensuring every detail contributes to successful events.

Some of your responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

  • Serve food and beverages, prepare duties, and maintain cleanliness after service.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained as directed by supervisors.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide a seamless experience for event guests.
  • Prioritize safety and uphold our "safety first" culture.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and business policies.
  • Work across different food and beverage outlets when no events are booked.

What you will bring to the role :

A passion for customer service, a positive attitude, and a flexible work style are essential. We also look for :

  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekdays, weekends, and public holidays during peak seasons.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
  • Adaptability and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage roles is advantageous.
  • Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) accreditation or the ability to obtain it.
