We have a great opportunity for an experienced, highly capable, and hands-on Workshop Team Leader to join our team in Wodonga.
ABOUT THE ROLEThis pivotal role involves leading, coaching, and developing an assigned team of Diesel Technicians in the workshop.
Working Monday to Friday, your main objective will be to ensure all KPIs are achieved and that our customers have a positive experience each time they do business with us.
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the workmanship and performance of assigned Diesel Technicians
- Striving to continuously achieve service labor targets with repair and maintenance work
- Driving a safe work environment with a focus on continuous improvement
- Managing and monitoring all work in progress to meet company benchmarks
- Leading by example and advocating for our core values of Integrity, Teamwork, Excellence, and Commitment
You will be a true leader with a genuine interest in motivating and inspiring a team of professionals. You enjoy challenges and hands-on work.
To succeed, you should possess the following skills and attributes:
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a similar role
- Highly developed communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to liaise effectively with customers, peers, co-workers, and all levels of management
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
