Your opportunity

As an Engagement Officer, you'll be reporting to the Operations & Finance Manager, and will be responsible for ensuring that NAL participant databases are well maintained. Working side by side with people who go the extra mile, you'll also love the feeling of helping children and adults who need us. Here's how you'll do it:

  • Ensure participant databases are well-maintained, regularly updated, and effectively structured
  • Develop and implement strategies to maintain engagement with participants, including periodic updates, newsletters, and follow-ups
  • Assist study teams with recruitment planning
  • Proactively grow the participant database
  • Ensure all participant data is managed in line with ethical guidelines, privacy regulations, and organisational policies
  • Assist with preparing materials and collateral, including website content, participant newsletters, and promotional campaigns
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the optimization of project support procedures

What you'll bring

We believe the successful candidate will show an understanding of quality, compliance and ethical requirements of working with participant data. You'll bring:

  • Experience in working with similar information (i.e. clinical or research databases)
  • Experience in engagement activities
  • Experience working in a research environment highly desirable
  • An understanding of hearing loss or audiology desired
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
