The Team:
The Admissions Team delivers frontline administrative support across all admission locations, including the Ambulatory Care Centre, Nephrology South, and K7 Maternity Wards. We ensure a smooth and efficient admission process to support patient care and hospital operations.

The Role:
- Communicate information in a timely manner to relevant persons, including responding to requests for information in accordance with the relevant legislation and policies.
- Interview patients upon admission to ensure a complete financial and demographic profile is captured for each patient on the Patient Administration System (PAS) and enter information via rapid, accurate data entry.
- Capture private and compensable patients for hospital revenue including the management of Inpatient Election documentation under the Healthcare Agreement.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to interact with the public and staff at all levels and demonstrate effective interviewing techniques to capture accurate demographic and financial information.
- Experience in and a demonstrated understanding of office management practices and procedures including computerised information systems and records management processes, together with accurate data entry skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively both individually and within a team-based environment to achieve organisational objectives that are subject to specific timeframes.
Details of appointment:
Permanent part time, shift worker not working weekends but working public holidays, working 75 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.

Salary: $73,811 to $79,779 per annum pro rata. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Eligibility:
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
- Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment. It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
