About the role

We are currently seeking a Multiskilled Domestic for our Juniper Waratah Lodge site in Wagin. The Multiskilled Domestic – Cleaning, Laundry, and Catering Services is a hands-on, customer-focused role responsible for delivering high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, laundry services, and basic catering support across Juniper residential aged care facilities.

Working closely with care staff and hospitality teams, this role supports residents' wellbeing by maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment and ensuring the effective preparation, delivery, and service of meals. The role is flexible and may include rotation between streams of cleaning, laundry, and catering duties based on operational needs.

It is essential that you embrace Juniper\'s core values and adhere to our policies and procedures while carrying out your duties.

This is a casual role with the opportunity to pick up additional shifts across various Juniper sites as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing cleaning services including vacuuming, emptying rubbish, dusting, wiping surfaces, and maintaining resident rooms, windows, toilets, bathrooms, and communal areas
  • Help within the kitchen - prepping food, maintaining cleanliness
  • Laundry services
  • Competent use of relevant chemicals and associated safety principles when cleaning
  • Respect residents\' property and privacy
  • Safely use equipment and PPE
Key Requirements
  • Must have valid work rights in Australia
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and procedures
  • Understanding of infection control
  • Experience in domestic cleaning in an aged care setting (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
