The Opportunity
The APS4 Finance Support Officer will work closely and collaboratively within the Financial Operation, Reporting and Compliance section to provide financial administrative support for the agency.
You will be responsible for processing requests relating to invoice payable / receivable and travel allowances, including the administration and reconciliation of corporate credit cards. In order to effectively support the achievement of ACIC outcomes, tasks are carried out in accordance to ACIC policies and procedures, which are governed by the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act 2013 (PGPA Act).
Role responsibilities
As a Finance Support Officer, you will :
Provide efficient and effective delivery of financial services that may include accounts payable and receivable, travel and credit card servicesUndertake financial reconciliations and analysis for corporate credit cards, banking or budget against actual expenditureOperate in accordance with internal policies, procedures and financial delegationsProvide financial advice to internal stakeholdersProvide administrative support as requiredYour skills and capabilities

Sound organisational skills with strong attention to detail and a sound analytical abilityIs a team player with sound oral and written communication skillsAn ability to build and maintain relationships in order to deliver advice and support to stakeholders that may include Senior ExecutiveRelevant experience in government financial processes, financial application / software, administrative tasks and / or contract management will be highly regardedEligibility
