Australian Training Company is seeking an enthusiastic apprentice mechanic who is keen to join an expandable mechanical repairs business based in Coorparoo in Brisbane.

We are seeking an energetic individual who is passionate about learning, to work on light motor vehicles. You will learn from an experienced and fully qualified mechanic on a full range of vehicle makes and models and be exposed to all the specialist tools of a well-equipped workshop.

To join our team as an apprentice motor mechanic, the successful applicant must meet the following criteria :

  • hold a current manual drivers' licence
  • be reliable, punctual, and hardworking
  • have good presentation and communication skills,
  • be a team player with excellent learning skills
  • a genuine interest in motor mechanics

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess great interpersonal skills, and be able to show initiative whilst working in a team environment; they will be a motivated and focused individual who is reliable and punctual with a willingness to learn and want to commence a career in Mechanics.

The successful applicant must be available for immediate start. This position is full time (38 hours per week). Full training support and uniforms will be provided. Recent school leavers are encouraged to apply,

Successful applicant will be paid under the Vehicle Manufacturing, Repair, Services & Retail Award 2020 and will accrue Annual leave, Sick leave and paid for Public Holidays.
