About the RoleThis position provides a range of secretarial and administration support to the Sydney Heart Centre and ensures the efficient running of the area through coordination and provision of administrative and clerical duties. This includes accurate data entry, reception duties, responding to telephone enquiries, scheduling appointments, running clinics, and managing dictations and correspondence related to clinics held in the Sydney Heart Centre. The position also provides administrative support to other Cardiology staff, covering colleagues when on leave, as well as performing other duties as directed by the Business Manager of the Cardiology Department.

Ideal Candidate- Excellent transcription skills and knowledge of clinical recording software.
- Previous administration/hospital experience is preferable, but not essential.
- Knowledge of Medicare bulk billing procedures, medical terminology, Microsoft Office programs and eMR system.
