FDM is a global business and technology consultancy delivering client and industry-driven solutions through our 5 core specialist Practices: Software Engineering, Data & Analytics, IT Operations, Change & Transformation, and Risk, Regulation & Compliance.

FDM is seeking a KYC Analyst located in New York, NY, to support a project in the financial services sector. The involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 12 months but may be extended.

This role will be hybrid, with requirements to be in the office 3 days per week.

The KYC Analyst will be responsible for ensuring that the client, business, and internal KYC teams are supported throughout the lifecycle of an onboarding process. Responsibilities include conducting an initial review of the KYC file to ensure accuracy, managing communication with the business clearly and concisely, managing daily MI, and prioritizing tasks. The role also involves reviewing and analyzing data to help improve efficiency and turnaround times.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform detailed initial review of case files, identifying gaps in the front office submission.
  • Clearly articulate reasons why submitted files meet (or do not meet) KYC and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure cases are prioritized and managed effectively and consistently according to the process and SLAs, ensuring effective delivery.
  • Collaborate with the Client, Front Office, and Operations to ensure transparency and improve turnaround times.
  • Understand the risks associated with specific entity/client types and evaluate case risk accordingly.
  • Support the production of critical metrics and reporting related to department performance, risk stratification, and resource capacity.
