Are you a driven, customer-focused salesperson with a passion for closing deals? McHugh Steel is looking for an energetic and motivated Roofing Salesperson to help our customers find the perfect roofing solutions.

About the Role

You'll be the face of our roofing division – meeting clients, understanding their needs, and providing expert advice on the best products and solutions. From first contact to final handover, you'll ensure every customer enjoys a smooth, professional, and positive experience.

Key Responsibilities

Build strong relationships with new and existing clients

Responsible to Convert enquiries and meet and exceed your sales budget

Assist in on site customer visits as required

Site Measures and Take offs will be required

Assess customer needs and provide tailored roofing solutions

Prepare quotes and follow up on leads promptly, using Applicad

Negotiate sales to achieve and exceed targets

Liaise with the operations team to ensure seamless project delivery

What We're Looking For

Sales experience (construction, roofing, or building industry preferred)

Strong communication and negotiation skills

Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Strong computer skills and use of CRM systems

Previous experience using estimating based software such as Applicad

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's licence, White Card and Working at Heights
