Edgewater Connections have been providing Level 3 ASP, building services, project management, and telco services since its inception in 1994. We have grown to be one of the largest ASPs and are strategically located in Sydney's North West, within walking distance to the Norwest Metro Station. Edgewater offers hybrid working arrangements after initial onboarding. Due to our continual year-on-year growth now exceeding 10 years, we are looking for extra people covering Endeavour Energy, Ausgrid, Essential Energy, and Energex. We are seeking the services of an experienced Level 3 Design Engineer to join our large and growing team of Engineers.

The role will be responsible for:

  • Liaising with clients to determine their needs
  • Liaising with Utilities to ensure the clients' requirements are provided
  • Performing detailed design of the projects
  • Completing Environmental Impact assessments
  • Packaging the project for certification by the Electrical Distributor

You will be the suitable applicant if you possess the following key criteria:

  • At least 3 years of Level 3 Design in NSW
  • Hold an Electrical Engineering Degree OR Electrical Trade qualification with a Cert IV in Electrical Engineering
  • Are able and willing to draft your own works on AutoCAD
  • Are proficient in Earthing Design or willing to engage in further training
  • Are proficient in the use of industry software programs such as Neera
  • Be trained in completing Environmental Assessments for Ausgrid and/or Endeavour Energy
  • Can communicate with a broad range of people

This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to work in multiple areas of the Level 3 Industry, covering all aspects of design including Chambers & Indoor Substations, Connections of Load, Road works, Small and Large Industrial Subdivisions in excess of 100Ha, and asset relocation.
