At Home Care is a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider specialising in complex care for individuals with spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, and other neurological disabilities. Our 24/7 in-home care services range from high care and nursing to social support, daily living assistance, and community access. Based in Greater Perth, we are trusted by various government organisations and specialist disability programs, dedicated to supporting our clients in living independently and with dignity.
Role Description
This is a casual role for a High Care Support Worker - Paediatric position. The role is personal care, client-based, located in the Greater Perth Area. The High Care Support Worker will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children with complex needs, including personal care, medication administration, daily living assistance, and support for community access. The role also involves working closely with families and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in personal care, daily living assistance, and community access
- Skills in medication administration and high-care nursing
- Proficiency in working with children with complex needs and their families
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Certification or training in childcare, nursing, or disability support is highly desirable
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport
- Working with Children Check and current First Aid & CPR Certificate
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced Complex Care and Disability Support workers (Preferably in Paediatrics)
- Candidates eager to learn and grow in the paediatric care field.
- Prior experience in childcare is desirable but not essential.
- Good communication among all team members.
