Full-Time Vehicle Trimmer Needed

About us

Fancee Car is a leading car customization specialist in the Sydney metro area. We provide high-quality, customized styles with professional service for your vehicle. Due to increasing business demand, we are actively recruiting a motivated full-time Vehicle Trimmer who is well-organized and has previous experience to become a key member of our team.

About the role

This role involves installing, repairing, and replacing internal and external vehicle trims.

Primary responsibilities include:

  1. Cleaning, preparing, and applying vinyl graphics and custom templates to customer vehicles.
  2. Removing old coverings or fittings from vehicles and taking new measurements.
  3. Selecting, measuring, and cutting fabric, vinyl, or leather using shears, electric cutting tools, and software.
  4. Assembling signwriting boxes and signs.
  5. Installing various materials on vehicle exteriors and interiors, including vinyl wraps, printable media, paint protection film, and suede.
  6. Replacing vehicle interior trims, seats, linings, and floor coverings, with experience in removing internal door coverings and dash trims.
  7. Waterproofing and dustproofing vehicles using weather strips and draught sealers.
  8. Manufacturing work based on drawings and sketches.

Requirements to be successful in this role:

  1. At least one year of relevant working experience.
  2. The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  3. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  4. Advanced trimming skills with attention to detail.
