Overview

Tyndale Christian School is seeking an inspiring and experienced educational leader to join our Senior School Leadership Team as Deputy Head of Senior School. This pivotal role supports operational leadership across the Senior School, championing teaching and learning across academic, spiritual, social, and emotional domains. The Deputy Head of Senior School works collaboratively with the Head of Senior School and fellow Deputy Head of Senior School to cultivate a thriving learning community grounded in Christian faith and excellence in education. This role includes leading initiatives that enhance student outcomes through evidence-based practices, data analysis, and the ongoing development of staff capability. The position also encompasses co-leadership of professional learning, curriculum innovation, student wellbeing, and the integration of educational technologies that support 21st-century learning. A strong personal faith and a coaching approach to leading others are essential."

Responsibilities
  • Support operational leadership across the Senior School.
  • Champion teaching and learning across academic, spiritual, social, and emotional domains.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Senior School and fellow Deputy Heads to cultivate a thriving learning community grounded in Christian faith and educational excellence.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance student outcomes using evidence-based practices and data analysis.
  • Contribute to ongoing staff capability development and co-lead professional learning.
  • Drive curriculum innovation and the integration of educational technologies to support 21st-century learning.
  • Support student wellbeing and the holistic development of learners.
  • Demonstrate a strong personal faith and apply a coaching approach to leading others.

About Tyndale Christian School Group

Tyndale Christian School is a co-educational, independent, inter-denominational school with locations in Salisbury East, Strathalbyn and Murray Bridge catering for over 2,000 students. This position is based at the Salisbury East campus, located between the foothills and plains on an 11-hectare property approximately 20 km north of the city. We offer exceptional facilities and programs to our students across three sub schools (junior, middle and senior) as they experience their personal journey as a Tyndalian.
