About the role :

This role is responsible for sourcing and procuring make-to-order items from external vendors, managing on-time delivery, and resolving technical and quality issues related to supplies, in accordance with EOS's commercial, production, and supply chain objectives.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Analyze specifications and drawings, source and request quotes for make-to-order materials and components for EOS production.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding specification and quality issues, requesting concessions following EOS DS processes.
  • Work with Production Planners to ensure adequate stock levels align with the Production Schedule to meet company goals.
  • Maintain awareness of vendor lead times, negotiate changes as needed, and update systems accordingly.
  • Liaise with EOS DS stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure all information is available for RFQ and purchase processes.
Qualifications and Experience :
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.
  • Supply Chain, Engineering, or Manufacturing trade or degree qualification.
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) highly regarded.
  • CIPS accreditations are highly regarded.
  • Experience in international sourcing and procurement.
  • Experience interpreting engineering requirements and sourcing products accordingly.
  • Experience working with ERP and MRP systems.
