The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced rostering specialist to join our team at our Ashmore aged care home on the Gold Coast.

Reporting to the Workforce Optimisation Manager, the Workforce Optimisation Coordinator will create and manage master and rolled rosters for multiple Residential Aged Care sites within the Infinite Care group. The goal is to ensure resident services are adequately staffed to uphold the highest standards of client care, while aligning with Infinite Care Values, Policies, and Procedures. You will lead a team of casual employees within a designated casual cluster.

This full-time position is based at our Ashmore facility, Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm.

The Role

- Act as the primary contact for employee rostering queries.
- Assist in identifying staffing requirements by analyzing roster and skills gaps.
- Conduct training and mentoring sessions for roster managers to enhance rostering skills and practices.
- Develop and maintain site rosters in accordance with workforce needs, employee preferences, budgets, and policies.
- Monitor rostering to ensure compliance with industrial and legislative standards.
- Communicate roster changes and updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Utilize Humanforce software for rostering tasks and escalate issues as needed.
- Ensure health and safety policies are followed, with roster hours aligned to industrial agreements and employee well-being.

About You

You are client-focused with proven experience in rostering, and you excel in communication, customer service, and adaptability.

- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and effective time management.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and databases.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with rostering software.
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS Workers Screening Clearance.

Experience in aged care, especially residential rostering, is highly regarded but not mandatory.
