Azooa, a 100% Australian-owned and operated digital innovation company, is seeking expressions of interest from experienced NV2-cleared ICT professionals to support our response to the DEF108 ICT Project Management RFQissued by the Department of Defence.

We're forming a delivery team to support a critical mission: uplifting sovereign Intelligence Mission Data (IMD)capabilities to empower the Australian Defence Force's (ADF) situational awareness, survivability, and operational advantage.

About the Project: DEF108 – ICT Project Management

The Intelligence Capability Division (ICD), through its Intelligence Data & Targeting (IDT) branch and Foundational Military Intelligence Directorate (FMID), is leading this initiative.

The goal of DEF108 is to uplift Defence's sovereign IMD production capability by addressing capacity and speed bottlenecks in existing systems — and Azooa is stepping up to deliver.

Our team will provide project management, enterprise architecture, and requirements engineering resources to deliver the foundational digital enablers for this mission.

Roles Available – Join Our Proposal Response Talent Pool

We are seeking the following roles, all of which require NV2 clearance and demonstrated experience in Defence environments:

1. ICT Project Manager

SFIA Code: PRMG – Level 5

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate project delivery aligned with Commonwealth governance structures
• Manage cost, schedule, and performance risks in a complex, multi-stakeholder program
• Deliver and maintain the Service Management Plan, Transition-In Plan, and Phase-Out Plan
• Oversee Proof of Concept development and capability transition to operational teams
• Prepare reports and lead governance meetings (Contract Status Reports, Performance Reviews)

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated ICT project management experience in government or Defence sectors
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and delivery assurance skills
• Understanding of Defence procurement and milestone frameworks

2. Enterprise Architect

SFIA Code: STPL – Level 5

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead enterprise-level design of geospatial intelligence systems
• Collaborate with Commonwealth partners to ensure architectural alignment
• Support integration of existing systems with new IMD production capabilities
• Provide solution oversight from concept through transition

Required Skills:

• Architecture experience in Defence C4ISR, geospatial, or intelligence domains
• Familiarity with Defence Enterprise Architecture Framework (DEAF) preferred
• Ability to assess system interoperability and lifecycle readiness

3. Requirements Manager

SFIA Code: REQM – Level 5

Key Responsibilities:

• Elicit, define, and manage stakeholder requirements across the lifecycle
• Maintain traceability of requirements from definition to testing and acceptance
• Support planning documents including the AIC Schedule and IP Schedule
• Ensure continuous alignment between evolving user needs and deliverables

Required Skills:

• Experience with structured requirements methodologies (e.g., DOORS, JAMA)
• Strong documentation, validation, and change management capabilities
• Familiarity with Defence capability lifecycle preferred

Contract Details (Subject to Award)

• Client: Department of Defence
• Contract Duration: 23 months + 2 x 12-month extension options
• Work Locations:
• Alan Woods Building, Constitution Avenue, Canberra ACT
• Brindabella Business Park, Majura ACT (from 1 July 2025)
• Security Requirements: NV2 minimum, Defence Intelligence Suitability Assessment (DISA)
• Tools/Furnished Resources: DPN/DSN access, Defence PCs, remote access tokens
