We are currently recruiting for a Physiotherapist to work in Lake Cathie, near Port Macquarie. The role would be to work in a residential aged care facility for a large provider of allied health services. The role would be for 4 days per week with flexibility on work hours (could do 5 days per week with shorter hours on each day).

  • We need someone with full work rights in Australia

About the organisation:

This organisation has a large team of allied health professionals and provide services to a variety of different aged care facilities. They also have a number of clinics across NSW and also work in the community.

Duties
  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments under ANACC
  • Learning and implementing the new aged care funding model (AN-ACC).
  • Overseeing and running group exercise sessions and falls prevention classes alongside physiotherapy aides.
  • Delivery of Chronic Pain Management Program
  • Implementing and upgrading rehabilitation exercise programs
  • Communicating with a greater team of allied health professionals and medical practitioners to coordinate effective courses of treatments
  • Delivery of manual handling training competencies

Requirements:
  • It is a requirement to be a fully AHPRA Registered Physiotherapist
  • We are looking for someone with a passion for Physiotherapy and for supporting older people
