An exciting position has become available for a Food Services Team Leader to oversee the Food Services Department reporting to the Catering Manager.

About the role…

As a Food Services Team Leader your responsibilities for the day to day running of the department will include:

  • staff management
  • resource allocation
  • ordering/procurement
  • food safety
  • quality and functional supervision
  • providing leadership and direction to the team to compliment the strategic direction, operational processes, budget and business direction of the hospital

This role is eitherMonday to Friday 6am to 2pm OR 12pm to 8pm.

  • Experience in a supervisory/leadership role within a kitchen or a Healthcare facility or hotel
  • Leadership capability to develop staff in delivering exceptional service
  • Demonstrated commitment towards quality improvement
  • Highly developed interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • Manage rosters, staffing and supervision of staff
  • Handle enquiries and resolve complaints
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organised manner
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Suit experienced hospitality supervisor.

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is one of the largest private dedicated rehabilitation hospitals in Australia. As an ACHS accredited 115 bed rehabilitation facility based in North Turramurra you will be working in a team passionate about delivering patient care. We are specialists in orthopaedics, cancer/oncology and neuro-spinal rehabilitation, providing both inpatient and day programs.

Applicants will be required to provide a current (12 months or less) National Police check and a NSW Working with Children's Check prior to appointment. As this role includes patient contact you will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases prior to commencement.

Casual to commence minimum of 35hrs @ $38.93 ph, Monday – Friday.
