What You'll Do

Hospital Pharmacy is a dynamic, fast-paced environment where precision and teamwork are crucial. As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll collaborate with Pharmacists, Nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth pharmacy operations supporting multidisciplinary care.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide high-quality pharmacy services to hospital staff, patients, and customers.
2. Dispense and supply medications for hospital and cancer patients.
3. Assist with imprest and pharmacy inventory management.
4. Deliver and collect medications to and from hospital wards.
5. Enter patient-specific data into the database accurately.
6. Assist with patient account inquiries.
7. Liaise with hospital staff and other stakeholders.
8. Support pharmacy team with general administrative tasks.

What You'll Bring

While hospital pharmacy experience is highly valued, it's not essential, as full training will be provided, including imprest management training to support your development in hospital pharmacy operations. Prior experience in pharmacy dispensing is required for a confident start.

Eligibility Requirements

• Australian working rights valid for at least 12 months from the start date.
• Dispensing experience in an Australian pharmacy setting.

Desirable Skills & Experience

• Experience in Hospital Pharmacy.
• Certificate III / IV in pharmacy (community or hospital) or equivalent.
