Systems Support Analyst

UNSW College is a wholly owned subsidiary of The University of New South Wales (UNSW). We're looking for an enthusiastic Systems Support Analyst to join our dynamic UNSW College Team.

We are seeking a highly communicative individual with excellent organisational skills and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have proven work experience acting as a business systems analyst, familiar with implementations, procedures and guidelines writing, provision of accesses and overall administration of SaaS applications, focusing on continuous improvement, change management and functional support to end users. Strong vendor relationship and stakeholder management is essential.

You will be responsible for the overall administration and maintenance of UNSW College Student Systems such as Student Management System, Timetabling and Class Allocation Software and Learning Management Systems, their Integrations and data flows as part of our Student Information Systems Team.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Requirements gathering, planning and implementation of new features in existing systems.
• Front-line primary functional support to end users relating to Student Systems such as Student Management System, Timetabling and Class Allocation Software and Learning Management Systems.
• Preparing technical and end user documentation for systems and interdependent applications working in collaboration with subject matter experts and vendors.
• Managing and monitoring System's setup and administration including access levels, and user permissions.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving with focus on identifying and resolving root causes and translating the root cause solutions into modified processes, functional specifications and technical specifications.
• Oversight of system's Integration and data flows

The successful applicant will have (but not limited to):

• Appropriate qualifications and/or equivalent experience in administration and information technology, preferably in an educational environment
• Proven ability to maintain SaaS Applications and their procedural documentation and to effectively communicate requirements to staff and vendors
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Cloud based solutions and their administration such as Azure Cloud, Atlassian suite.
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation and application of innovative solutions to practical Systems management problems.
