What You'll Do

  • Design and scale ultra-reliable streaming pipelines built on Apache Kafka

  • Build and maintain reusable producer/consumer libraries across the org

  • Optimise cluster performance and security for high-throughput environments

  • Integrate real-time data flows into research, analytics, and trading platforms

  • Collaborate with high-calibre teams across software, infrastructure, and trading

What You Bring

  • Production-grade Kafka experience (cluster ops, tuning, scaling)

  • Strong coding in Python and C++

  • Solid understanding of Linux systems and network performance

  • Passion for performance, resilience, and clean architecture

  • Bonus: experience with Kafka Streams, Spark, Flink, or AWS MSK
