About the role

We're dedicated to supporting our members on their journey back to work and health. We're all about innovative claims management, and we're looking for a Senior Claims Manager to join our awesome team. You'll handle a diverse portfolio of life, disability, and income protection claims. You'll provide expert advice, investigate and assess claims, and coach our team to develop their skills.

Day to day, you'll:

• Manage a variety of complex claims and implement proactive strategies to benefit both our members and ART.
• Engage with members and stakeholders to understand the full picture of their illness or injury.
• Work with members, employers, healthcare professionals, and other key players to gather info, provide updates, and make decisions.
• Support and mentor less experienced team members to help them grow.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and positively impact member service delivery.

About you

You expertly balance technical know-how with empathy, guiding the team through complex claims with confidence and care. You're proactive, collaborative, and always look for ways to improve processes and support the team's growth.

• You have solid experience in holistic claims management and have worked with Early Intervention Services, Rehabilitation, and Community Services.
• You have experience in the life/disability insurance claims industry.
• You love supporting and mentoring others to develop their skills.
• You have tertiary qualifications in a related field.
