We provide a comprehensive range of currency services and products, including our Currency Converter, Market Analysis, Currency Data API and quick, easy, secure Money Transfers for individuals and businesses. We leverage technology to deliver these services through our website, mobile app and by phone. Last year, we helped over 300 million people access information about the currencies that matter to them and over 225,000 people used us to send money overseas.
We are proud to be part of Euronet Worldwide (Nasdaq: EEFT), a global leader in processing secure electronic financial transactions. Under their Money Transfer division, Xe and Ria Money Transfer have been brought together to help establish the third largest money transfer business in the world.
Reporting to the Head of Digital SME (APAC), Xe's Inside Sales are responsible for managing Xe's portfolio of small to medium sized business clients that utilize Xe's online services.

Position Overview
This role will be accountable for converting inbound opportunities with a strong emphasis to grow new business revenue and active userbase through nurturing prospective clients through the application process, helping facilitate their first time trade with Xe, identifying and following up on repeated trade opportunities, maximising client retention within the digital SME portfolio and winning back inactive customers through email/calling campaigns. Work closely with team members to help manage existing digital SME book, and other service teams to ensure seamless support of clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
What you'll do;
- Manage and Onboard New Clients: Take ownership of a pipeline of prospective small-to-medium-sized business clients, guiding them through the onboarding process to ensure Xe facilitate their Foreign Exchange transactional business
- Sales Conversion and Relationship Building: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to post-sales handoff, ensuring a seamless transition. Qualify applications by conducting due diligence checks, introductory calls, and discovery questions to align with their currency and payments requirements.
- Educate Clients on Xe's Offerings: Help clients achieve their FX objectives by teaching them how to utilize Xe's online payments platform to book deals. Showcase the advantages of Xe's Money Transfer services along with its suite of products, services, and tools.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships by delivering exceptional service, resolving issues efficiently, and regularly checking in to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with sales, compliance, and back-office teams to deliver optimal outcomes for both the client and Xe's business goals.
- Support Revenue Growth: Assist wider commercial teams in achieving complete portfolio coverage, retaining existing clients, and growing corporate revenue through relationship management and upselling opportunities.
- Meet Key Metrics: Achieve commercial targets such as first-time transaction (FTT) conversions and revenue growth, while actively monitoring and analysing customer engagement metrics.
- Database Management & KYC Compliance: Ensure client database records are accurate and up to date, adhering to best practices for KYC compliance.
- Regulatory Adherence: Stay informed about all relevant Australian and New Zealand regulatory requirements and comply with Xe's policies and procedures.
- Continuous Professional Development: Maintain required CPD hours and RG146 Accreditation, participating in Xe training sessions, meetings, campaigns, and events to grow your skills and knowledge.
- Active Participation in Xe training sessions, campaigns, meetings, and events to enhance skills and contribute to team success.
Who you are;
- Bachelor's or Master's degreein finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience ina customer success, account management, sales or similar role.
- Outstanding client service skills.
- A 'natural'when it comes to online services and assisting clients with managing their needs online.
- Interestin and experience monitoring financial markets.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
- System skills(Office Packages, phone systems, deal pricing and execution systems, internal systems).
- Strong numeric skills.
- Excellent time-management skillsto ensure full coverage of client base.
- Results orientatedand ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Takes ownershipand uses initiative to improve business processes and productivity.
- Exceptionally high attention to detail.
