Visual Arts, Japanese and Humanities Teacher

Townsville Catholic Education is seeking an experienced and dedicated Visual Arts, Japanese, and Humanities Teacher for St Margaret Mary's College, Hyde Park, a Townsville Girls Catholic High School. This is a full-time, permanent position covering maternity leave.
The college, founded in 1963 by the Sisters of the Good Samaritan, offers education for girls from Years 7 to 12, with a variety of subjects, vocational programs, extracurricular activities, and support for students with special needs.
Key requirements include:
- Innovative, proactive, and flexible approach to student learning
- Experience with curriculum initiatives
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and staff
- Current Queensland College of Teaching Registration or ability to obtain before start
Mandatory criteria include:
- Current Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card)
We offer competitive salary ($73,629 - $106,045), 4 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading, salary packaging, modern facilities, superannuation up to 12.75%, long service leave, paid parental leave, health insurance, professional development, and well-being programs.
