Employment Type: Permanent full time, 38 hours per week

Pay: $38.20 to $41.74 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Take charge of your own room, leading a team of Educators to deliver exceptional educational programs.
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and the Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices.
  • Ensure safety and inclusivity, tailoring learning experiences to meet the needs of all children.

Goodstart Garran is an 85-place, Exceeding-rated centre, located near Canberra Hospital and within walking distance to CIT and Woden Plaza. The centre serves a vibrant, multicultural community with families from diverse backgrounds and a focus on local visits, cultural events, and inclusive learning experiences.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent) or higher
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current Working with Vulnerable Persons Card
