The Opportunity

In this role, you'll lead the design, delivery, and ongoing improvement of a dynamic, organisation-wide recruitment and selection framework that supports all Newcastle Anglican directorates.

This is a full-time 12-month contract.

Role & Responsibilities
  • Proactively source and engage top talent through passive recruitment strategies
  • Build strong relationships with external stakeholders and local education providers
  • Develop partnerships to support future talent pipelines
  • Educate internal teams on networking and talent pooling techniques
  • Provide insights through recruitment and market analytics
  • Contribute to strategic workforce planning and recruitment initiatives
  • Represent the organisation through professional networking opportunities
About you
  • Qualification in Human Resources or similar, or experience in relevant field
  • Current drivers' licence
  • 3+ years in a similar position
  • Outstanding communication with evidence of highly developed skills in problem-solving and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with wide range of stakeholders to achieve organisational goals and objectives
  • Excellent administration skills and demonstrated ability to effectively manage own workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong competency in the use of Microsoft Suite, recruitment programs

You will also be required to have or be willing to obtain a NSW Working with Children check (with clearance to work with children), NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and partake in a functional assessment.
