In this Role
  1. Lead the shift to ensure all warehouse operations like pick-pack, receipt, dispatch, and planning are executed on-time and in-full, adhering to Metcash's values and procedures.
  2. Create a positive team culture by providing guidance, training, and feedback to staff, ensuring they feel supported and motivated.
  3. Champion safety in the workplace, ensuring all OHS guidelines are followed and any incidents are reported and addressed promptly.
  4. Lead change by identifying areas of improvement, driving efficiency, and contributing to a culture of growth and engagement.
  5. Coordinate daily staffing and operational needs, making sure we have the right team in place to meet our business demands while maintaining a balanced work environment.
  6. Monitor and control warehouse costs, ensuring we operate efficiently and within budget.
You're Likely a Match If
  1. Experience in FMCG operations and a proven track record of leading teams.
  2. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on collaborative solutions.
  3. Knowledge of OHS and HACCP regulations, with a commitment to workplace safety.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with automated warehousing systems (desirable).
