Senior Electrical Engineer (Relocate to Tasmania)

Responsibilities
  • Lead a small engineering team to successfully deliver complex electrical engineering solutions for projects within requirements, schedule and budget in your areas of expertise.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to your team; may include leading extended teams to achieve non-technical project outcomes.
  • Be accountable for the team's performance in achieving schedule, quality, and budget targets.
  • Prepare and produce electrical designs to meet project requirements, specifications, budgets, and timeframes, reporting to the Principal Engineer and/or Project Manager.
  • Liaise directly with clients to develop and refine scopes of work as needed.
About you
  • Ideally based in Launceston with unrestricted Australian work rights.
  • Electrical Engineering degree with five-plus years of proven experience within automation, Defence, energy, utilities or manufacturing sectors.
  • Eligible for state-based engineering registration in Electrical Engineering.
  • Verifiable knowledge of systems engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage with key stakeholders at all levels.
