As a Banking Consultant in our Retail Banking, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service. This role is based mainly in branches, providing customers with a seamless banking experience, through meeting each customer's end-to-end financial needs and goals across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on the financial solutions available, including digital. You will have the knowledge required to complete customer transactions, as well as have in-depth needs-based conversations and fulfill products as per your accreditation level. You will deliver a high standard of customer service to ensure customers are not only satisfied but strong advocates for ANZ.

As a Banking Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Provide our customers with a seamless branch experience by meeting each customer's end-to-end banking needs across transaction activities, needs-based conversations, and educating them on digital solutions.
2. Be part of a collaborative team and act as a role model and peer coach to deliver the best possible customer experience.
3. Contribute to a significant uplift in customer engagement and advocacy, and create real customer value.
4. Actively participate in and support bank programs and initiatives.
5. Take responsibility to 'know your customer' from a risk perspective.
6. Ensure compliance with ANZ and branch policies and procedures.

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

1. Exceptional customer focus - retail experience is an advantage.
2. Experience in being a user and promoter of technology - working knowledge in using different digital channels is an advantage.
3. Ability to multi-task and highly adaptable to change and ambiguity.
4. Willingness to work in a collaborative team environment.
5. Sound understanding of compliance.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
