The Opportunity

You will play a crucial part within our team supporting our haulage operations by maintaining our fleet of Kenworth C509 Road Trains, equipped with quad or triple configuration side tippers with the latest technology. This position is based at Weipa in North Queensland.

Your primary responsibilities will include servicing, attending to breakdowns, and completing general mechanical repairs.

This is a permanent full-time position on a 2/1 roster with rotating day and night shifts, offering Fly In, Fly Out from Brisbane or Cairns, QLD.

About you:

  • Australian recognised Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Trade Qualification
  • Current Australian Driver's License
  • A strong commitment to safety and quality of work
  • Experience with Kenworth T909, T509; Cummins ISX; quad and triple trailer configurations; preferably Howard Porter or Boomerang
  • Diagnostic, fault finding, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks
  • Australian Work Rights
