Our Alpha Capture team is part of the Investment Management & Research division, collaborating closely with quantitative researchers to incorporate insights into our systematic investment strategies.

We are seeking a candidate to lead the expansion of our Equity Alpha Capture programme in China. In this role, you will join a small team of relationship managers and researchers, responsible for managing and developing regional relationships. You will play a vital role in the ongoing success and evolution of our global Alpha Capture programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with sell-side partners at both individual contributor and institutional levels.
  • Identifying new opportunities within signals, partnerships, and technology for the Alpha Capture programme.
  • Collaborating with Winton's quantitative investment team to support the global growth of the Alpha Capture initiative.
  • Representing the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.

What We're Looking For:

  • Fluency in Mandarin and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing role at the Associate or VP level within financial markets, such as Alpha Capture or Equity Sales.
  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong commercial relationships with financial institution counterparties.
  • High motivation, strong work ethic, and perseverance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
