As Infrastructure Services Division continues efforts to 'Build Education' for Queenslanders, we are seeking a skilled and adaptable Senior Infrastructure Services Officer to support the governance and delivery of our Public-Private Partnership (PPP) and Design, Construct and Maintain (DCM) agreements.

This role requires someone equally comfortable engaging directly with schools and working with private facilities management (FM) operators to track, assess and help manage works, risks and performance.

Your new opportunity
  • Take a lead role in managing PPP and DCM contract deliverables, performance issues, and reporting.
  • Work autonomously to analyse contract, project, and asset data, identifying risks and recommending practical solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with school leaders, FM operators, and other stakeholders.
  • Review and improve processes, systems, and reporting to enhance service delivery and data integrity.
About The Role

In order to deliver the above you will have responsibility for (but not limited to) the following:

  • Manage and monitor operational and contractual obligations, including financial and asset management activities.
  • Provide timely, accurate, and practical advice to schools, FM operators, and internal stakeholders.
  • Assist in preparing clear, high-quality project information, reports, briefings, and correspondence.
  • Maintain effective communication across internal teams and external networks, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and constructively.

  • Apply experience in contract management, facilities maintenance, infrastructure projects, safety, or security (PPP or DCM experience valued).
  • Draw on a background in facility maintenance or asset management (highly regarded).

This role is regulated employment, and as such, the successful applicant will be required to hold a current Working with Children Clearance (Blue Card) issued by Blue Card Services.
