About the Role

Our Marketing team at Kogan.com is seeking an eCommerce Specialist to manage visual merchandising on our websites, enhancing navigation and product discoverability. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Content & Merchandising, this role collaborates closely with the Purchasing team to understand product categories through market research and data analysis, aiming to create an optimal shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage online visual merchandising according to brand guidelines for Kogan.com and its subsidiaries, including digital marketing campaigns.
  2. Research product specifications and set standards for sourcing from suppliers.
  3. Collaborate with the Purchasing team to implement merchandising best practices and quality controls.
  4. Maintain and update website content, navigation, and search optimization to keep content fresh and aligned with promotional and seasonal trends.
  5. Conduct customer and competitor research to enhance category merchandising.
  6. Analyze visitor behavior and customer journeys across channels and devices to improve visual communication.
  7. Support data analysis and reporting to inform business and product strategies.
  8. Partner with cross-functional teams to support website improvements.
  9. Identify opportunities to enhance website content, functions, and processes.
Qualifications and Skills
  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Experience or exposure to Online Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Website Layouts, or CX functions, preferably in retail or eCommerce.
  • Passion for understanding consumer behavior and improving customer experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in web analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
  • Inquisitive mindset and willingness to work hard to deliver quality results.
