Are you a hands-on problem-solver who takes pride in maintaining a safe and welcoming environment? Levande is looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our team at The Cambridge in Epping. About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Village Manager, you'll be responsible for conducting routine and urgent maintenance, managing waste and supplies, driving the village van, and ensuring facilities remain in excellent working condition. You'll also build strong, respectful relationships with residents and staff and contribute to our culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of buildings, equipment, and facilities
  • Respond quickly to urgent maintenance and repair needs
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and manage inventory of tools and supplies
  • Engage respectfully and professionally with residents, staff, and contractors
  • Support environmental sustainability and waste management practices
  • Uphold safety standards and contribute to risk and compliance initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities
  • Good physical health (able to lift/move up to 15 kg)
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in property, facility, or retirement living maintenance
  • Trade certification
  • Experience with maintenance or building management software
