**Your Role**:
Are you a hands-on problem solver who loves to keep things running smoothly? As a Maintenance Officer at BaptistCare, you'll be the go-to person for all things maintenance, ensuring our site is top-notch and our tenants are happy. You'll work under limited supervision, tackling a variety of tasks that keep our site in tip-top shape.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

- Perform reactive and preventative maintenance on buildings, plant and equipment, furniture, fittings, gardens, lawns, and carparks.
- Ensure timely completion of preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain asset acquisition and disposals in Maintenance Connection.
- Manage site vehicles and loading dock areas.
- Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and Site Manager on budget planning and asset management.
- Purchase and order equipment in accordance with organizational policies.
- Report and manage resident and staff complaints regarding maintenance services.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and BaptistCare policies.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Minimum of 12 months experience in preventative and reactive maintenance systems.
- Hands-on property maintenance experience.
- Understanding of operational budget processes.
- Experience managing property-related contractors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Valid driver's license.
- Fire Safety Officer training (or willingness to undertake) - desirable.
- Experience in a Community Services, Aged Care/Health Care environment.
- A genuine alignment to BaptistCare's vision, purpose and values.
