  • Design, develop, and maintain data streaming applications using Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Monitor and optimize Kafka clusters for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Implement best practices for data ingestion, processing, and storage.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Kafka and associated technologies.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to data streaming and messaging systems.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience with Confluent Kafka or Apache Kafka.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Experience with data serialization formats like Avro or Protobuf.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink or Apache Spark Streaming.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in software development and data engineering.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
