Job: - SAP HCM Technical Consultant - (Australian Citizens Only)

Estimated Start Date: - Tuesday, 01 July 2025

We are looking for an experienced SAP HCM Technical Consultant for a long-term contract with one of our Federal Government Clients.

Required Skills

  • A minimum of five years of SAP HCM experience
  • Experience and knowledge of multiple areas of the ECC6.0 HCM module, in particular Public Sector Personnel Administration and Time Management and knowledge of Organizational Management, Performance Management and Reporting.
  • Strong experience and knowledge of HCM tables and data within the SAP HCM module
  • Experience in Master Data Management, including providing advice on data and processes
  • Experience in implementation of SAP HCM solutions within the SDO SAP application landscape
  • Australian Public Sector (APS) experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in translating business needs into functional requirements and design
  • Ability to support HCM Team technical activities
  • Resolve production incidents – HCM related, including helpdesk tickets
  • Ability to analysis of business requirements
  • Establish good relationships within the ERP Services group and with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to deliver business requirements using standard SAP functionality
  • Ability to rigorously test system solutions with real business scenarios
  • Ability to work in a multiclient shared services environment
  • Ability to work in a continually changing environment
  • Ability to adapt and apply existing techniques and methodologies
  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication, stakeholder coordination and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, work in a team environment, understand and be responsive to customer and project needs
  • Experience in providing functional specifications to technical team for any custom developments
  • Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation and maintain functional documentation in Solution Manager
  • Experience working in organisations similar to that of the buyers, namely a multiclient shared services environment
  • Working within a multicultural team environment
