About the role

This role is responsible for delivering key Child Sponsorship/Regular Giving communications which strengthen and improve donor retention. It includes overseeing processes and activities associated with Child Sponsorship Letter Writing, as well as Annual Progress Reports that get distributed to all Sponsors throughout the year.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver key Child Sponsorship/Regular Giving communications to strengthen donor retention
  • Oversee processes and activities related to Child Sponsorship Letter Writing
  • Oversee distribution of Annual Progress Reports to Sponsors
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administration role
  • Experience working with databases or CRM (customer relationship management) systems
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, accuracy and quality
  • Ability to be self-directed, organized, take initiative and meet deadlines in a professional and confident manner
  • Proven ability to maintain good stakeholder relationships
  • A learning mindset with a commitment to bringing best-practice in fundraising
  • A passion for making donors' experience with Baptist World Aid the best it can be
Desirable Knowledge, Skills And Experience
  • Some experience in fundraising and/or retention marketing roles
  • Experience working in a not-for-profit environment
  • Technical aptitude and a proven interest in improving processes and systems
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate volunteers
  • Understanding of Christian principles in development
