Associate Engineer (Early in Career - Graduate Opportunity) at World Wide Technology (WWT).
At World Wide Technology, we work together to make a new world happen. WWT is dedicated to achieving its mission of creating a profitable growth company that is also a Great Place to Work for All, through our culture, benefits and delivering cutting-edge technology solutions for clients.
We're a specialist professional services firm helping clients modernise and transform their technology environments. Our work spans infrastructure, cloud migration, network security, automation, and emerging technologies like AI. We work hands-on with enterprise customers to solve complex technology problems—often operating at the intersection of technology and business. This is your chance to be part of that growth.
The Opportunity
As a Graduate Technology Consultant, you'll join a team that delivers complex transformation and transition programs for enterprise clients. You'll gain hands-on experience across multiple industries and environments, working side-by-side with experienced consultants on real-world technology challenges.
Responsibilities- Work across multiple clients, each with unique environments, programs, and transformation priorities
- Contribute to infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, network transitions, automation, and early-stage AI initiatives
- Be involved in end-to-end delivery—from current state assessments to detailed designs, implementation, and optimisation
- Learn and apply tools like Terraform, Python, PowerShell, GitHub, Jenkins, and other DevOps technologies
- Build foundational knowledge in network security, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and enterprise infrastructure
- Translate technical details into clear, business-focused presentations and documentation, using PowerPoint, diagrams, and client-ready deliverables
- Get exposed to internal innovation projects, building practical tools and exploring real use cases for automation and AI
- Continue your learning journey by studying for relevant technical certifications and applying that knowledge on the ground
- Develop the ability to bridge technical learning with business requirements to shape solutions with real impact
- Are completing or have recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Networking, or Information Technology
- Are a technology enthusiast who loves diving into new tools, labs, platforms, and architectures
- Are willing to put in the effort to learn independently, obtain relevant certifications, and stay current with industry trends
- Enjoy solving technical problems and understand the importance of client impact and business outcomes
- Have strong foundational knowledge or interest in networking and network security, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash), and DevOps/infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Jenkins)
- Have software development exposure (back-end or front-end) — not mandatory, but a strong plus
- Are comfortable with creating PowerPoint presentations, diagrams, and other creative ways to explain technical concepts
- Can balance technical depth with business context—you think beyond the code
- Are motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Diverse technical exposure across infrastructure, security, automation, and cloud
- Mentorship from senior consultants with enterprise experience
- A culture that encourages innovation, autonomy, and continuous learning
- Opportunities to work on emerging tech, including AI use cases
- Career pathways into architecture, engineering, and technology consulting
- A tight-knit, high-performing team that genuinely cares about your growth
We strive to create an environment where all employees are empowered to succeed based on their skills, performance, and dedication. Our goal is to cultivate a culture of belonging that encourages innovation, collaboration, and respect for all team members, ensuring that WWT remains a great place to work for All.
