Overview

Casual Disability Support Worker – Inner West

Pay rate: $42 per hour (casual loading + super)

Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, flexible to your schedule

Location: Abbotsford, NSW

About the role

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for a 25-year-old NDIS participant. The role includes assisting at home, engaging in social and recreational activities, and encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle. You'll play an important part in helping the participant work towards their fitness and personal goals.

Responsibilities
  • Engage in social and recreational activities with the participant
  • Encourage self-care and positive daily habits
  • Provide companionship and practical support in line with NDIS goals
  • Genuine interest in mental health and supporting young adults
  • Positive and non-judgemental attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport
  • Ability to work independently with care and integrity
Other requirements
  • Prior experience is valued but not essential — training and support provided
  • First Aid Certificate, Police Check, NDIS Worker Orientation Module (required before starting)
