About The RoleThis position is in response to the SLHD Aboriginal Workforce Strategic Plan. Incumbents of this position are employed on a two-year contract as Trainee Administrative Officers. Trainees are automatically enrolled in a Certificate III in Health Administration qualification that they will undertake through Sydney Education whilst working as a Trainee Administrative Officer in SLHD.
We Are Looking For Someone Who Has- Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to use a computer.
- Good interpersonal and relationship building skills including the ability to seek advice and support from others.
- Demonstrated commitment to working within the healthcare environment.
- Ability to balance work and study.
This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identification as being Aboriginal and being accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1977.
