Aligned Leisure is a 100% owned subsidiary of the Richmond Football Club, established to manage the operations of Richmond's health, fitness, and leisure activities. Key Responsibilities
  1. Daily operation of the facility
  2. Conduct regular walkthroughs to ensure cleanliness, presentation, service quality, and safety, especially in change rooms.
  3. Manage maintenance by liaising with approved suppliers and reporting issues promptly.
  4. Coordinate staff rosters, breaks, and ensure proper setup for programs.
  5. Lead and supervise staff, ensuring compliance with checklists and procedures.
  6. Support staff in maximizing sales and minimizing wait times.
  7. Ensure timely opening of facilities and programs.
  8. Transition management to the next shift or prepare for the next day.
Health and Safety
  1. Implement and monitor compliance with Occupational Health and Safety policies.
  2. Conduct hazard inspections, risk assessments, and implement controls.
  3. Discuss health and safety with staff each shift and oversee evacuations when necessary.
  4. Investigate incidents and maintain records.
  5. Ensure staff and contractors are properly inducted and trained.
Customer Service
  1. Deliver outstanding service and memorable experiences.
  2. Identify service opportunities and uphold the customer charter.
  3. Resolve customer complaints promptly and follow up on feedback.
Additional Tasks

The Duty Captain may undertake other tasks as directed, including assisting in other roles within the facility.

Essential Qualifications and Experience
  1. Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003)
  2. Current Pool Lifeguard Award (SISSS00111)
  3. Current Pool Operators Certificate (SISSS000110)
  4. Working With Children Check or equivalent
  5. Fitness requirements as per GSPO, including annual medical assessments and swim tests
