Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Landlords and Property team at Marsh. This role will be based in our Melbourne office. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days in the office.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, manage and support a small team who contribute to managing and growing our portfolio of landlords and domestic clients' insurance requirements and placements.
  • Develop strong relationships, understand client needs, and provide expert advice on insurance products and services.
  • Proactively service clients; understand the landlord insurance landscape and collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and domestic clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries and needs.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services, ensuring comprehensive coverage and effective risk management strategies.
  • Oversee the policy renewal process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions, and negotiate terms with insurance carriers to secure the best coverage and pricing for clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor offerings to provide clients with relevant insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriting, claims, and risk management, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
What you need to have
  • Tier 1 qualification
  • Demonstrated experience within the insurance industry, with a focus on landlords and domestic clients
  • Prior experience managing a small team
  • Strong knowledge of retail and domestic insurance products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
