About us

Crossmuller is an innovative and progressive multi-disciplined company specialising in manufacturing design, automation and systems integration. Our Engineering division designs and constructs manufacturing facilities, refurbishes existing facilities and designs and constructs automation plant for manufacturing plants and warehouses.

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrician with industrial, commercial and panel building experience to join our Electrical Team based at Somersby NSW.

Whilst working within the Electrical team you will be exposed to multiple disciplines throughout the electrical trade including but not limited to Commercial, Industrial, Maintenance, Panel Building, Robotics, Electrical Design, Programming and Troubleshooting.

To be considered for this role you will be able to meet the following essential selection criteria:

  1. Relevant trade qualification
  2. Experience in panel building (essential)
  3. A current NSW Driving Licence
  4. Current WHS white card
  5. Able to interpret electrical schematics and controls
  6. Good knowledge of AS3000 and be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge in all facets of electrical work and a firm commitment to safe work practices
  7. Ability to liaise with builders, foremen and project managers during contract works
  8. Proven ability to work effectively within a team as well as independently
  9. Ability to adapt to a constantly changing work environment and scheduling
  10. Takes pride in their work and completing projects to the highest of standards
  11. Willingness to train apprentices with a positive attitude to ensure they become the best tradesmen

The following qualifications are not essential but will be highly regarded in the selection process:

  1. Elevated Work Platform Licence
  2. Confined Space
  3. Emergency First Aid / CPR
  4. Working at Heights
  5. Low Voltage Release and Rescue
  6. Industrial / PLC experience

This is a full-time permanent position within our Electrical team. To be successful in this role you must be self-motivated and be willing to put in the work needed to complete jobs in a timely manner. Attention to detail and highest quality workmanship are paramount.

As part of the selection process, applicants must be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical examination which includes functional, audiometric and drug and alcohol testing.

Rate will be negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
